This prayer keeps coming across my feed, and it landed with me in a way few things do. I’m keeping it here for myself. If it says something to you as well, even better. My relationship with God is personal, and I’m not here to tell anyone what to believe or do concerning Him. I am an imperfect man and a sinner. I am also deeply grateful for the life, blessings, and experiences He has afforded me—far more than I deserve and I thank Him for that every day. by @ak_gulogulo

Waterfowl highlights so far this season. Note the word highlights. Lots of steel thrown with birds not cooperating and flying into it! Fortunately, my boy is still a work horse and makes up for my shortcomings. He literally has the patience of Job —which is fitting because that’s his name! Doesn’t whine, rarely breaks, and grinds it out full throttle every day. Best lab I’ve ever had and I thank Baby Jesus for him everyday. I really do. 🙏
@shotkamofficial is awesome and no I didn’t shoot at the swan. Just nice to film it with the ShotKam though.

The woods and mountains are my church, and the animals are my choir. And there’s absolutely nothing that stirs me like bugling bulls in the distance.

Chased elk for two weeks Outside and got into them every day but one. Passed on some spikes, raghorns, and cows because the freezer is full and I wanted a big one. I ate humble pie every day, got caught pulling my bow back twice, and winded too many times to count. Damn, they can be tough to arrow. I’ve got nothing to show for it but I did not return empty handed. Being in the woods and mountains grounds me, gives me time to think and reflect on my life and those in it. Mostly though, it reconnects me to nature and my God. Hunting may not always feed one’s belly,but it will definitely feed your soul. Go get you some… by @ak_gulogulo

We lost a giant yesterday. A Titan. An American patriot. A father, husband, son. A devoted Christian who wished no ill will for anyone. His assassination is deeply troubling and saddening to me. I am ashamed , embarrassed even, of what our country has become.

The Left say he was a fascist, a Nazi, misogynist, racist, and spread hate. Nothing could be further from the truth. He treated everyone, even the ones that hated him, with respect. If you formed a negative opinion of him, was it because of what he actually said or what you were told? Did you hear just a snippet or his actual full conversation. The hate I see towards him is from people that never really listened to him. I’ve seen him show love and respect for everyone regardless of how different their views or politics were.

Make no mistake, he was murdered for one reason only— he was effective in getting youth to think critically. He didn’t tell them what to think, but encouraged them how to think. How to question the narrative and really, the indoctrination, colleges were feeding them. He purposely went to the lions den of college campuses to try and help young people have a better life and future in this country. That’s exactly what he wanted for his own children. For the first time ever, children are worse off than their parents. That’s never been the case before. They couldn’t beat him in a debate or a battle of ideas so they murdered him. They murdered him in front of his wife and child because he had different opinions than they do.

This isn’t right versus left anymore. This is good versus evil. This is love versus hate. God versus Satan. Western civilization versus communism. Our country was founded on being able to express our opinions and beliefs without the threat of violence. Charlie Kirk was the embodiment of that and a champion of our constitutional rights. He wasn’t a politician or some bureaucrat. He was a simple God loving man who loved and cherished his country and had faith in today’s young people. And he wanted the country to become better for them. His loss of life is a huge immeasurable loss for our country. We were lucky to have him in our lives and no one can fill his shoes. by @ak_gulogulo

I pulled the trigger on this monster bull but if it wasn’t for the graciousness and generosity of my friends I probably would’ve never even seen it. Not only did they give me their honey hole, they even told me where to look. I almost messed it up but with patience, luck, and a little bit of work I brought him in closer. Bertha, my .06, once again answered the call with one shot. Beyond grateful for the opportunity to harvest such a beautiful animal, be with good friends and provide food for our three families. Stuck in the airport today with too much time on my hands and figured I’d compile highlights of this summer before I head north. Went down an edit rabbit hole after being limited in only 90 seconds of audio to these reels which I like adding. But what if I videotaped the edit, then cropped the video? It’s overly zoomed in— but it works! Ha! Big brain move— or strategery!? Definitely a work around! Doesn’t matter. These reels are how I archive memories with friends and family. They’re more for me than anything or anyone else. We’ll see if meta lets me post it.

So far summer has been hustle and bustle. And eating a fair amount of smoke too. But man, we are blessed with great friends and being able to live in this great state. True happiness is wanting what you have. by @ak_gulogulo
