✨ Hello! ✨

I wanted to reintroduce myself and this page as I move forward with my work while maintaining a healthy relationship to social media.

I am a writer, producer, part-time witch, and full time weirdo. I am looking forward to sharing short stories and strange bits of life here.

It feels like the world is in a dark place but everyday I see so much magick in the lives of my loved ones and our communities. This is a place to celebrate and protect that.

It’s also a place for magickal nonsense because it’s fun.

I’m glad you’re here. Let’s follow the magick together 🌙 by @aka.leahmorris

Lol at past Leah who was staunchly against ever becoming a runner. Blame this group of silly geese for encouraging me to keep putting one foot in front of the other. taken in Chattanooga, Tennessee by @aka.leahmorris

I actually don’t hate my phone but I hate when I let it control me. I’m always seeking connection but I forgot how much I treasure connection with the world around me.

Mornings are for noticing ✨🌿

It rained today therefore I get to be moody. Also I’m considering subscribing to the New Yorker again. Should I do it?

The book is Sea of Tranquility by Emily St. John Mandel. Never been disappointed by her writing ✨🌊

A collection of lighting and books because when I think of my life I think of this.

Faced old ghosts today. Got caught in the rain. Messed around on my bike like a little kid and wrote a poem. (It’s all the way at the end >>>) I miss people even when I have them. by @aka.leahmorris

I’m just a little plant, really. When I’ve spent too much of myself I have to park my weary brain in the sun and creatively hydrate.

In Ohio ——

I remembered what’s it like to sit with people you don’t have to explain yourself to and isn’t it nice that a friendship can span from the constant negotiations of self and place into something richer like silence between sips of coffee and laughing at the same birds.

| Went on a trip | Realized how much I had missed my friends | Saw an osprey carrying a fish over a wheat field and lived to tell the tale |
