My dynamic duo😭🙏🏻
Recently, I started reading Nightwing (I know, I never read it. Leave me alone🫵🏻) and one of my favorite issue so far is the one with Red hood cuz they were so brothers🤧🤧 it meant something to me alright🗣 And also, the amount of fics I've been reading of these two is so not healthy😭

I am OBSESSED with drawing nightwing with a cropped jacket. I don't know what it is, but it just looks so good!! Added some yellow because how dare they take the yellow out of his suit👤👤

Trying to figure out how to draw chibis. It's so weird😭😭 idk I like this style but I gotta draw it again to see if it sticks🧎‍♀️‍➡️

I read a fanfic that made me want to carve my eyes out because they loved him so much it made me sick🤧 so it compelled me to draw this (I'll never forgive myself for LOSING THE TITTLE🗣)

ANYWAYS– I think the aggressive child Jaybin propaganda is forced as we have seen several times. The writers hate him✋🏻 And I REFUSE to act as if he was anything other than a little jellybean happy to be magic AND dare I say I'd throw anyone who disagrees under a bus– I'm kidding fbi (please don't come for me I'm just a girl🙏🏻)

I have SEVERAL hc of Jay but the one that no matter what stayed with me is that he's extremely sleepy, he will deadass sleep anywhere (I'm projecting yes I'm aware, that's how I deal with my problems👽) but honestly y'all, a child who wakes up early to go to school, comes back to do their homework, works out AND studies a whole lot of things is not staying awake the whole night😭✌🏻 I'm sorry kids aren't built like that lol

Dick/Discowing loved Jaybin, if you disagree u better learn to fly when you cross the road🫵🏻

Good lord, this took me a lot longer and shorter to finish than I thought it would (how is that possible? idk😭)

I wanted this to be like a post-patrol moment but then I decided to give this sunrise (??) vibe idk I like it! It feels dreamy in a sense?? (I had no idea what I was doing. I just wanted to finish it👤👤)

Someone hooked me on them a while back and I've never been the same since. I'm not super familiar with their dynamic yet (I'm still catching up on supersons and all, gimme some time😭) but everytime I see them I'm giggling like a child lmao I love that they're basically always on each others throats😭😭

I still don't know a whole lot about Jon, but he strikes me as that type of child that everything you tell them they're like, "u promise?" And you say yes, and they proceed to ask you to pinky promise😭😭 which I find very cute✌🏻 And Damian...well he's Damian😭✋🏻 I think we'd be pissed and confused at the first few times but after a while he's just whatever👤 and I love that

What are they making a pinky promise for? Only heaven knows🧍‍♀️ what city they're in? I don't know. Stop asking so many questions👹🫵🏻🫵🏻

Another contribution to the happy side of the batfamily coming right up! I don't have any more tears to cry about this tragedy😭😭

In my head, they are a very happy family💔 (Hi, yes it's me, the copium breather👤) pre-crisis I'll never forget what you did to our dad Batman, u ruined him🫵🏻🫵🏻

Okay, now about the drawing! This is my first time in a VERY long time where I draw a scene, and the focus is the characters instead of the background and honestly? I kinda loved it! It was nice to focus on rendering the characters and keeping the background simple. It's a different type of storytelling, I suppose! I might approach some future pieces like this one to change it up once in a while🫂

OH! I almost forgor😔 I actually genuinely like Dick's discowing suit (or is this nightingale idk don't sue me✋🏻) I think it really fits his personally (at least in the 80's when he was younger and in the 80's💀) but I think it's very fun and different, which could be the reason why I like it and not necessarily because it's pretty but whatever my point stands. I think it's funky and I love that for him.

Oh, and if you think Bruce wouldn't hold Jay's hand when he's asleep you are very wrong🫵🏻

They mean so much to me waaah I can't wait to see more of them (can't believe we gotta wait 6 WEEKS for the next one✋🏻💔) I LOVE the way these little guys were written and I'm so excited to see them interacting more!!
