It’s time to hibernate for the winter 🐻
👇🏻 Check out my side quests whilst I’m gone👇🏻

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The great hibernation of 2026 is about to begin. 🐻

Some of you know I need to step away from the algorithm every now and again for peace of mind and to refocus but I always come back sooner or later.

❄️ Have a good winter and I’ll see y’all in the spring 🌈 by @akaburty

About last night…it was intense.

Have never experienced a party in scale like Pig Berlin before.

Would I do it again? Absolutely taken in Berlin, Germany by @akaburty

Something was missing with this recent overshare.

It was annoying my brain until I realised Gran Canaria didn’t get a mention.

But cruising doesn’t always go to plan so you might be a little surprised 😳 I certainly was at the time 🤷🏼‍♂️

Anyway I’ve given the article a little update. Enjoy!

A year ago today I took off.

I wanted an adventure so packed away all my belongings and jetted off to the other side of the world.

I started writing about my travels but quickly started sharing more than I imagined I would.

So thank you if you’ve been reading my ramblings from the beginning or welcome if you’ve joined more recently.

Thank you for letting me overshare with you.

There’s plenty more to come.

When you’ve been having a Menty B (is that what the kids call it these days?) so with a bit of encouragement get on your bike and get some much needed fresh air.

And a little wild foraging later we had ourselves some tasty homemade apple and blackberry jam 👅 by @akaburty

I felt his lips on mine.

It was the first time I’d been kissed.

I mean in a passionate way. I didn’t have an emotionally stunted childhood devoid of any love or affection despite how I might come across.

It was gentle at first. His soft lips pressed against mine. My lips parted slightly.

I’d wanted this for so long. I was fifteen.

As an awkward gangly closeted teenager I’d tiptoed through the adolescent obstacle course of having ‘girlfriends’. Each time I’d narrowly avoided having to seal the deal with a kiss whilst harbouring secret crushes on my best boy friends.

But now it was finally happening... ❤️

This is exactly what I needed this weekend!

After a tense standoff this morning with a theatre ticket app we managed to get last minute tickets for @titaniquemusicaluk.

Laughed so hard watching @williamhanson and the incredibly talented cast bring the story of how @celinedion survived the disaster to life 🤭 by @akaburty
