Families had a fall-tastic time last Sunday at the Fall Festival Adventure at the Shelly Compnay! 🍂🎃👷 Sending a big thank you to @theshellyco at Ostrander for hosting and organizing every aspect of this Adventure! Our families got to enjoy tours of the quarry, rock painting, pumpkin picking, an archery trailer, animal encounters, boxed lunches from Sunny Street Cafe, and more! by @akacentraloh

Today, we co-hosted a Big Table with the Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital to dig into the findings of our impact study and talk about how we can better serve families together.

The Nationwide Children's research team surveyed 3,661 families raising a child with a life-threatening condition. Their study found that after participating in A Kid Again Adventures:

✨ 95% reported more joy
💚 85% reported more hope
🧡 80% reported better self-esteem
💙 79% reported less depression

The benefits reached the whole family, including caregivers, children, and siblings. It's a powerful reminder that great care doesn't stop at the hospital doors. While Nationwide Children's provides the medical care for these kids and families, we're here to give them something to look forward to as a family and a community.

A-maize-ing family fun! 🌽💛

We had a blast at the Lynd Fruit Farm Adventure, opened exclusively to A Kid Again families. There was something for everyone with two corn mazes, bounce houses, yard games, wagon rides, a corn stress reliever giveaway, and snack boxes from Sunny Street Café.
