While they celebrated, I prepared. Next year isn’t a goal…it’s inevitable.

My phone died as I was recording it and I thought it didn't save. Miraculously, it appeared days later. I appreciate @cheriebtayvo for giving my name a shot 😂😂 but next time, I’ll be announced as the winner 😤😤 by @akanimo

This last week has been one for the record books! From hanging out with my mentor JMC, making tons of new friends, attending a riveting workshop from the illustrious Debra Wilson, and an awards ceremony filled with black excellence. I had the honor of sharing a table with award winners such as Michael Scott, Matthew Parham, and Carin Gilfry, and sharing the room with Yinka Ladeinde, Erikka J, and Rebecca Lee. I now have a different outlook on how I approach voice-over and know that one day, my time will come. #ovc26 #onevoice #onevoiceconference by @akanimo

I finally got me one! I see why they said it takes two people to put together 🤣🤣 but thanks to my natural blessings (and the gym), I managed to put it together by myself. We’re this much closer to locking in on this dream.

This is unreal. To think the amount of growth that took place in such a short amount of time. I’m beyond grateful to my friends, family, mentors, and peers to even be considered for an award.
