A couple weeks ago I was able to record my first mix for @stankbugzzz !!

Stankbugz is an independent radio platform here in Chicago that’s been curating real art for a while now, so playing here was a great honor and lotttt of fun! I got an opportunity to play some tracks that are very special to me, including a track by @lilithnsid and I (slide 5)

There is much to hold and appreciate. Summer has been jam-packed…and there’s more to come! by @akapmarr

We are honored to have been able to help curate some of the competitors for the RedBull Turn It Up Open Format DJ competition for college students in Boston! We pulled some of the best from the underground to represent the city!

If you’ve been to DeepCutt, RedEye, Untitled, and more you’ve most likely seen one of these DJs! Grab a ticket and go show them some love!

Thank you to everyone who sent in submissions! We sent as many members of our community as possible who are in college to the RedBull team for them to make the final decision!

A beautiful and neccesary experience! My heart is really full and happy…I got to meet so many people & I’m still in awe of all the talented artists and DJS that shared their work during the retreat.

I have so much appreciation for @bigheart.bigbrain + @wyungfilms for making this possible, for alchemizing their love for music in the Midwest into something real and tangible. I think this retreat was something that a lot of people needed deeply. We need music like we need trees, like we need each other. Especially now, it’s hard to remind ourselves why we do this music shit, even if it feels impossible sometimes. We do this because we have to. Sometimes it feels like if we went without creating, we would die.

🗿BLESS & KAPMAR REUNITE 🎼 8/1

We are thrilled to come together again for a special B2B at the @californiaclipper this Saturday, 8/1, 10pm-2:30am. We’re still riding high off our electric set together earlier this summer and can’t wait to be back on the dancefloor with you all.

With Bless’ body-driven and emotionally rich sound and Kapmar’s rhythmic focus and deep musicality, together we’ll bring a highly narrative and lush journey that shifts between hard, electric peak-time energy and smooth, deeper atmospheric grooves; From Detroit techno, disco, deep house, funk, and ghetto tech.

Come to dance early, come open minded, be respectful of others, sweat late, $5 cover
