A few things for the sauna and after🤸‍♀️

Swimsuit dry bags, sauna hats, incense and more to come, now available at shop.akarisauna.com! by @akarisauna

We were tapped by @akarisauna to develop a custom sconce for their latest location, on Orchard Street in the Lower East Side. Lichen’s senior product designer, @alvaro_ucharodriguez designed and fabricated the sconces for the entry, using a technique of sanding down Mylar sheets to create a calming opaque finish. - To learn more about the project, check out the Interiors and Projects tab on our website.

Teaming up with good friends & Akari Sauna heads, Yuki & Yumi from @saltfieldsbrewing for a special edition sauna beer! The best rice lager in town made by the nicest couple! Just like how people in Japan do it, there’s nothing like a cold beer after a sauna.

We’ll be hosting an end of summer event for all members to enjoy the Saltfields. More details to follow! 🈂️🍻

Label design by our long-time staff member, Yu @talla_teriyaki and Saltfields’ designer @taijikuroda

We’re excited to officially partner with @pocarisweatusa to continue bringing the spirit of Good Sweat to our community.

In Japan, Pocari Sweat has long been enjoyed after a sauna, bath, or active day. With its balanced blend of electrolytes and light, refreshing taste, it has become a familiar part of the post-sauna ritual at Akari.
