Going on hour four of no power and now trying to get everyone to sleep. But I look around and can’t help but feel grateful!

We were having a stressful night - I was feeling super overstimulated by the kids, they were all cranky with each other and us cranky with them…then the power went out and it caused all of it to halt.

As much as I wish we had power right now, I’m treasuring this little moment that feels like everything kind of froze in time.

So thankful for the best of friends who let us come over and charge all of the things, loved on us, then sent us home with an extra generator so we can keep our phones and lights charged.

God has a way of giving us (or taking away in this case) exactly what we need when we need it. ❤️ by @akbosley

“Maybe she’s an object that watches kids.”
“Can you roll down my window ?”
(Sticks her foot out the window and starts talking to the employee)
“Do you like my shoe?”
“It’s cheetah.”
(Rolls up window)
“That guy might should try a new haircut.”

Literally never a dull moment with this girl. Like yesterday when we were at the reptile expo and she so badly wanted us to buy a 30 year-old tortoise for a pet for our backyard… by @akbosley

I just have to brag on this girl. She wore an all white shirt for the first day of school and didn’t get a single stain on it!!! If you know Jordan, you know that was a CHALLENGE. 😂😂
