Real life Temple Run 🛕

For everyone planning to visit these famous “Chiang Mai temples”
quick reality check.
These temples are actually in Chiang Rai, almost 300–400 km away.
The road has construction, the ride isn’t the smoothest, and honestly, it tests your patience a bit.
But the moment you reach there… it’s all worth it.

Somewhere between these temples, I also met the long-neck tribe something I had only seen in National Geographic before, now right in front of me.

And then there was this baby girl.
One unconditional hug… and it felt like she took away every bit of negative energy I was carrying.

Tea, the way it was always meant to be 🍃

Growing up watching those Lipton Supreme ads, the lady harvesting tea leaves on those endless green hills always stayed with me. Bucket list item: unlocked.

Spent the morning at an organic tea garden in Ella learning how tea actually goes from leaf to cup — the harvesting, the withering, the rolling, the oxidation, all of it. Tried different blends straight from the source, and honestly nothing compares to tea this fresh.

And then the snack table happened. Gnaakatha (basically Sri Lanka’s answer to our nan khatai), crispy murukku, dodol made from rice flour and jaggery, plus a whole spread I’m still thinking about. Sri Lankan hospitality really doesn’t miss.

Tea gardens have a way of making you slow down. Highly recommend if you’re ever in Ella. taken in Ella, Sri Lanka by @akbuzz_arslan
