Feeling the feels of the posts of so many pals dropping their kiddos off at college, and getting so many texts asking us if we are doing the same, realizing that I’ve not updated everyone on some news! Since late May, @weezwilson16 made a change in her college plans and is headed to #nyu! She’ll spend two years in the liberal studies core program, which thrills this English and Drama major’s heart. Her plan is then to transfer to Rory Meyers School of Nursing at NYU. Happily for me, her program doesn’t start until January, so we get some bonus time while she takes a gap semester (including some travel.) NYU has been a dream school for Weez and so we are pumped. by @akbw71

Well, here we are! #lastdayofhighschool school. My grief that it went so fast is only exceeded by my mad love for this amazing kid and the luckiness I feel to be her mama. For those who have followed along: first day of kindergarten and last day of high school, plus a collection of all 13 first and last days! A project that I kept to over 13 years, through being away on contracts, a pandemic, one year having to take the last day photo in the middle of June because I was out of town and we forgot, a lot of teenage eye rolling, and as you can see by this morning’s wet hair—running late! Still. We did it. @weezwilson16 did it! Scroll to the end for some bonus news, and extra points if you get the Easter Egg of the song choice. Thank you to our village, to the best #girldad in the world, @ben.b.wilson.1, and especially to Eloise Berg Wilson, whose heart, leadership, and tenacity fill me with a pride like no other. by @akbw71

My mother and the one who made me a mother. Coincidentally wearing the exact same color. So glad to be sandwiched between them. Happy Mothers’ Day. ❤️ by @akbw71

Happy Birthday to my favorite #tauri, my man @ben.b.wilson.1 today, and my wifey @staneal, who has a big one tomorrow! Last weekend, we celebrated in the manner we have for many decades now, dancing our asses off to our favorite weirdo band. Only this time in high style at @spherevegas, which should go on everyone’s bucket lists if you’re a live music fan. Happy birthday, my beloved party people! #phegas by @akbw71
