One wee ago today, almost to the minute. Snow Cat, of @austin_bulldog_rescue passwd over the #rainbowbridge🌈. Snow Cat was loved very much by @akchercules and @missthangbijou her new siblings. It’s Hercules' #gotchaday! This day in 2019, Daisy my Frenglish and I met Hercules. At first we were like what did we get ourselves into. He was so full of life, energetic and ready to have fun. He loves his family including his baby sister Bijou, @missthangbijou, and Milo the Pittie. We are a pack and he is our Pack leader and Daddy just makes sure he has his back too. I love you, my Teddy Bear, my Hercules. ❤️. #dogstagram #dog #bulldog taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @akchercules

Hercules has been with @nationwidepet since 8/2019. Bijou since April 2021. Chooch will be next in 2026. Nationwide has been there for us when we needed them the most. Thank you Nationwide Pet Insurance! ❤️ 👏🐶 taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @akchercules

Hercules took his 3rd chemo at home like a #champ. He was rewarded with some hamburger steak. #dogs #dog #prayforhercules #dogsofinstagram taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @akchercules

One week of chemo tomorrow. Next Thursday we will get blood work for him at the oncologist to see if chemo is helping him or not. Hercules still has the will and fight in him but I know it's not for long. I miss him so much and he's not gone. #dogs #dog #dogsofinstagram #prayforhercules #savehercules taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @akchercules

Tuesday morning walk. Hercules just completed day 2 of chemo and so far has taken it like #Champ. He had a good walk yesterday and today. God willing the chemo is going to slow down the cancer for a while and give us a last summer with Hercules and his siblings together. But we take it day by day. 🙏 ❤️ 🐶 #dogsofinstagram #dog #dogstagram #dogs taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @akchercules

It’s Monday walk. One of the things I love most about Hercules is his tail wagging. It makes me smile and feel so good he does it for me. Especially, this morning and this chapter in life. His tail wagging is one of the barometers of how’s he doing. It means a lot in his quality of life. It will also be something I will miss about him very much. But we racked up wins this morning. He woke up, he was ready to walk, he had a good walk, his poop was solid and firm, he is hungry and he is wagging his tail. It’s a good day.
