My Why! Watch this if you’re interested in learning why I do what I do! Every life takes a journey, and this is part of mine! I’m forever indebted to the incredible mentors and teachers I’ve met along the way. Always grateful to do what I love. This was created as a result of my time with @artist_inc_official with the @arkartscouncil and @midamericaartsalliance by @akcollierstudio

I could not be more proud of these two and their beautiful, honest, heart-wrenching performances in The Cake at @argentacontemporarytheatre tonight. If you want a show that will make you laugh, cry, and think critically about how to build a bridge in the midst of a fractured relationship- this is the show for you! Congrats to everyone involved! by @akcollierstudio

I didn’t take any photos- but snagged this one from @laurenlisowe CONGRATS to all of my friends and students involved in @bryantchoirs Spring Sing. I laughed, I cried, I started a “Tannerisms” note. @tanner_teaches and @lisa.j.hatfield have truly created such a beautiful family in their choir program. I am honored to call you my colleagues! Swipe for the first of what will end up being many “Tannerisms”. by @akcollierstudio

It’s been a full and fun day, and it’s not even over yet. I’ve met every artist - and you should know - these artists are creating meaningful works. I’m so honored to be part of Catalyze Cohort 4. @midamericaartsalliance is doing great things for Arkansans! by @akcollierstudio

How do you sum up years of working with students? With a senior showcase celebrating the many ways they’ve grown - as singers, yes- but more importantly as kind, genuine, empathetic young adults. So proud of each and every one of them. “Don’t worry that it’s not good enough for anyone else to hear. Sing. Sing a song.” by @akcollierstudio

I am always so proud when students perform in a recital- and I am especially proud of these students for singing at my first ever Classical & Spiritual Recital. Singing classically or with a “legit” style is an important step in voice discovery. My job is to help students add and build up the skills or tools in their voice toolbox - and learning the skills to sing in this style, is so important for every singer. This recital featured songs not only in English, but in Latin, German, French, and Italian! A special shout out to @maryidaworthen for being our accompanist! 💕 by @akcollierstudio
