Breakfast with Uncle Herb. Afternoon with this beautiful human!!! And crashed last-minute at another friend's house, cause I'm getting old and needed immediate rest. Decentering men, only to have them come through for me on my bday lol. (I guess a few can stay!!) Maine and I have always shown up for each! It's amazing to be able to sustain relationships that last decades. Love on the ones that love on you & ENJOY YOUR LIFE - you can't live it for no one else 💛 by @akcreativeatl

This visual is compelling. Look closer... In the U.S., for Black women, it's a true miracle when that mother is able to come home with the child (and continues to live-some women have been sent home only to die or return to the hospital when it's too late). The mortality rate for women giving birth period is high for a "developed country." Check the doc out. Be aware. Share the knowledge. taken in United States by @akcreativeatl
