AKER (cultivated land) symbolizing growth, nurturing, and the creation of something valuable from the ground up.

POSTS STORIES REELS

Growth in development takes more than finding the right properties. It takes the right partners to keep projects moving.

At Aker Development, we currently have approximately 65 active projects and are on track to complete roughly 180 residential units in 2026. Much of that work centers on transforming overlooked infill properties throughout the Portland metro area into thoughtfully planned housing—creating new opportunities in established neighborhoods close to the schools, parks, transit, and amenities people already value.

Scaling a pipeline like this depends on strong alignment at every stage. @corentcapital helps identify opportunities and structure the capital, while our team at Aker manages design, permitting, construction, and execution through completion. On the lending side, @corevest has been a valuable partner as we navigate the complexities of middle housing, multi-structure developments, phased sales, and projects that require a more flexible financing approach.

The best partnerships work both ways. We bring the execution and development expertise our partners can count on, while they provide the capital and financing structures that allow us to keep projects moving forward.

180 units may be a number on paper, but on the ground, it represents 180 households with a place to call home in a neighborhood they want to be part of.

🏗️ Successful new construction requires more than funding. It requires experience.

📋 Budgets, timelines, inspections, contractors and draw schedules all need to remain aligned. When one part of the process slows down, the entire project can be affected.

That’s why CoreVest brings more than capital to the table 🤝.

Our in-house construction management team works alongside borrowers before closing and throughout the life of the project, reviewing budgets and timelines, helping identify potential challenges early and supporting an efficient draw process designed to keep construction moving.

For experienced residential real estate investors and builders, that means working with a lender that understands the complexities of construction, aligns financing with the strategy and is committed to dependable execution.

For residential real estate developers, identifying the right opportunity is only part of the equation. Bringing it to life takes the right strategy, experienced partners, and financing that understands the full lifecycle of a project.

In Portland, Oregon, Aker Development and Corent Capital are putting that approach into practice, working alongside CoreVest Finance to transform overlooked properties into thoughtfully designed homes.

But the bigger story goes beyond any single project. It's about building long-term relationships that help experienced developers execute their vision while contributing to something we all need: more housing.

The result is more than a series of transactions. It's a look at what the right financing relationship can make possible.

From opportunity to execution, every project starts with a clear vision and the right partners behind it.

At Corent Capital, we work alongside investors to understand their goals, identify opportunities, and move projects through diligence and permitting. Once a project is ready for construction, partners like @corevest help provide the financing needed to move forward.

From there, Aker Development takes the lead on execution—carrying the project from the ground up through completion while maintaining the standards we’ve built our reputation around.

As we look toward our long-term goal of scaling to 500 units annually, the focus remains the same: build the right partnerships, create a strong process, and continue delivering at a high level as we grow.
