what an honor it is to produce a Pride in a place like Provincetown and with the incredible talent in our community.. Thank you to everyone who helps make it happen starting my exceptional team Rachael and Carmen. THANK YOU Dani and Evan for assisting in production. Nina and Mike F for showing me the way. Ed and Tommy for amazing Pride parties. The entire cast of the Variety Show. Austin and Mackenzie for hosting the Pride Rally. Paige for being the perfect host at Bingo. the volunteers that make it happen and Sandy thank u for letting me skip the 5k lol.. We will do it again next year. Now it’s time to launch Carnival. i went to gay surf week to learn to surf (duh) and to connect with new friends & while i might have gotten injured, i did catch a wave first :) most importantly, i made connections with new friends that far outweighed the struggle of this damn dislocated shoulder. thank you @joesantinii for creating a safe space for everyone to connect. thank u @pattiegonia for encouraging me to surf. thank u @surfsynergy for everything & thank you to all my new friends i made at this retreat who made this week so exceptional for me given the circumstances. to anyone who has ever dreamt of surfing, or you’re a surfer looking for community. these could be your people, i know they are mine. @gaysurfweeks // @joesantinii cheers to trying new things and putting myself out there to make more friends in the outdoor space. xoxoslingshot by @akermanwithak

costa rica 🇨🇷 i started the trip with some of my favorite f*ggots in the jungle of Diamanté Valley. Thank you @shelbyclarkflow for putting on such a fabulous retreat for queer men to be authentic, really let loose and be Jungle F*gs…. to my (she)cada sisters @stevazar and @tangle_made … love u so much! and to everyone who made this happen @dinoreal @djwilliamfrancis @dan_link_survives @rainbro_universe @jonnycota and all of the Qasa staff AND to everyone who attended the retreat, i made so many amazing friends. thanks you to the entire group for allowing me to be myself. after the retreat, I went to see the Cloud Forest and Río Pacuare with @dhranitzky , before taking the last week to be alone in the Osa Peninsula. It was an unforgettable trip and very much needed. thank you to all my friends who made this trip so special, and to the people of Costa Rica who always make me feel so at home.XOXO, PURA VIDA WIFI!!! by @akermanwithak

bb’s first mardi gras was everything. started the day in the St. Anns parade and marched into the french quarter (that a very special moment). we shuffled around town getting into whatever fun we could find. damn, i even danced on a bus. i really had the best time with the best people & i can’t wait to do it again. by @akermanwithak

my favorite national park! home to my spirit animal, the Tapir. It was a surreal moment to see them at sunrise and sunset every day. This national park brings out this adventurous spirit i can’t explain but just love. Sleeping on cots, waking up at 4am to get on the trail, spending all day looking for the next surprise in the jungle, making friends but being forcred to bed at 8pm, and THE GUIDE experience. TOMAS!!! You are exceptional. He can tell a tapir print from 7 days ago vs 2 days ago. He can see and hear a bird before you even knew it was around. He will use nature to find nature. This trip always pushes my limits.. i broke my phone in the park but so am so lucky to get these photos. by @akermanwithak
