Huge Gallery Exhibition Recap! 🎨✨

Still feels a little crazy to say this, but only 3 months after I started consistently posting my art on Instagram and decided to fully commit to art as a professional endeavour (rather than treating it as “just a hobby”), I already got to experience my first official exhibition🤩

A huge thank you to @hugegallery and the entire team for organising and curating the exhibition, and to @galeria.marzia for hosting us here in Barcelona!🌸

But most importantly, thank you to all my people who came to see and support me. Even though most of you have probably already seen these paintings a million times on my page (and heard me talk about them even more lol), you still made the time and effort to come and see them in real life🥹

Those three days became so much more than just an exhibition for me. They were three days of meeting at the gallery, catching up, laughing, spending time together and getting to share this first little exhibition experience with so many people I love dearly🥳

Thank you ALL for supporting me every step of the way, for believing in what I’m doing, and for showing up for moments like this. It genuinely means the world to me that I got to share such a special milestone with you!

EXHIBITION ALERT!!!! 🎨✨

I’m exhibiting in BARCELONA THIS WEEKEND!! 🥹🤍

From Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September, three paintings from my LATAM COLLECTION — Caye Caulker, Flores and San Juan — will be exhibited at Huge Gallery Barcelona as part of their contemporary art exhibition!

I’m SO excited to finally have these three pieces exhibited together in Barcelona, and I would absolutely love to see some familiar faces there. 🥰

✨ OPENING NIGHT
Friday 18th September | 19:00–21:30

I’ll personally be there from 19:00 onwards, so if you want to come see the paintings, meet some of the other artists AND come say hi to me, Friday is definitely the best time! There’ll also be live music during the opening, with Persian singer and setar player Hamed Zoheiri performing during the evening. 🎶

Can’t make it on Friday? The exhibition continues all weekend!

Saturday 19th | 11:00–17:00
Sunday 20th | 11:00–17:00

I’m also planning to be there again on Sunday from around 15:00–16:00, so you can come say hi then too! 🌸

And YES — I’ll also have prints from my LATAM Collection available for sale at the exhibition!! 🎨

From a blank canvas to a painting inspired by one of the most colourful towns I’ve ever experienced 🎨

📍 San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala

On the shores of Lake Atitlán sits a small town where colour seems to exist absolutely everywhere. The walls are covered in vibrant murals, the streets beneath your feet are painted, and even the churches, cafés and little shops seem to become part of one enormous colourful composition.

What stayed with me wasn’t just how much colour there was, but how deeply creativity seemed to be woven into everyday life. We visited a traditional Mayan stingless bee cooperative, a chocolate workshop, a medicinal herb cooperative and a textile workshop where local women prepare fibres, dye them using natural pigments and weave every garment by hand.

I wanted this painting to reflect that explosion of colour.

The entire palette comes directly from what I saw throughout San Juan: strong reds, blues and yellows mixed with bright greens and oranges. Primary and secondary colours constantly appearing beside one another, making the whole town feel incredibly vibrant and alive.

And then there’s the pattern.

My lovely mum said it reminded her of a classic Soviet parquet floor 😂 — but that wasn’t actually the inspiration. This pattern appeared again and again throughout San Juan, decorating the walls and streets we walked through.

Apparently my photographic memory decided that this was the detail my brain would forever associate with the town.

So this is San Juan through my eyes — an explosion of colour, pattern, tradition and craftsmanship, all woven together into one place ❤️💙💛

I took thousands of photos on this trip. Somehow, these 6 paintings feel more like my memories than any of them.

A couple of months ago, I travelled through Belize and Guatemala — and when I came home, I realised I didn’t remember every place exactly as it looked.

I remembered colours.

The impossible blues of the Blue Hole. The changing light over Lake Atitlán. Colourful houses reflected in the water in Flores. The warm streets of Antigua. The murals and textiles of San Juan. The slow, Caribbean feeling of Caye Caulker.

So I painted what stayed in my head.

6 places. 6 paintings. One trip, remembered through colour.

That became COLORS OF LATAM 🌎

These aren’t literal landscapes. They’re more like visual memories — pieces of what I noticed, what I felt, and what my brain decided was worth keeping.

And now, for the first time, I’m turning the entire collection into limited edition fine art prints. 🥹

Only 5 of each painting will exist — 30 prints in total.

35 × 35 cm, printed on 310gsm fine art paper, signed and individually numbered by me.

Basically, a tiny piece of Belize or Guatemala that gets to continue its journey somewhere new.

Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing the story behind each painting, and exactly how each place became these colours.
