For so long, I remember the days we prayed for a house… not just a house to say we have one or that we are “homeowners” on paper, but a house to host people. A house where people feel warmth and welcomed. A place where people can come, laugh, enjoy a meal or treat, and feel God’s peace and presence.

Thank you, Jesus, for this beautiful home. We are so grateful for all the moments of laughter, joy, and love we’ve already shared with so many.

This home is for hosting and you are always welcomed here.

If Jesus welcomed people with open arms, why don’t we?🥺🏠✨🤍💘

Kinda chic to live within your means 💖🙏🫶😊✨💐 thank you Jesus for always providing for us.

“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭31‬-‭34‬ ‭NLT‬‬ 💖 by @akiaortiz

I’ve been so gently feeling the Lord’s conviction and invitation to take better care of myself, to learn self control and discipline by caring for my body and my mind more intentionally.

I’m learning to do the things I don’t even like doing yet. And somehow, in the midst of it, God has met me there. Through tracking my food, to saying no to extra sugar my body doesn’t need at times, to showing up to early morning workouts or afternoon sessions too. He’s there.

Sometimes discipline will do what motivation won’t. And every time, God meets you right there in the middle of what may seem hard just to start. The invitation is intentional, and sometimes you just have to take it. ❤️🫶

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]? You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body.”✨
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭AMP‬‬
