Dear Daddy,
The little girl in your arms had no idea just how blessed she was. She only knew that when Daddy held her, she was safe. She didn’t know yet that those same hands would spend a lifetime loving her, protecting her, guiding her, providing for her…and yes, spoiling her rotten.

41 years later, I’m still your baby. Still looking at you with the same love, knowing that no matter how old I get, there will always be something about being “Daddy’s girl” that makes the world feel a lot safer.

Allah blessed me beyond measure when he made me the last of your 16 children. I got to grow up watching you love our family, serve others, walk in your faith, and show us what it means for a man to truly be present.

My heart is so full after this Eid. 🤍
Being able to celebrate with my parents, to hug family we haven’t seen in years, and to be surrounded by such a strong, loving Muslim community… it meant Everything.
