Biography of Sadiq Akinwale Oluwatosin (aka Akinstringz) Sadiq Akinwale Oluwatosin is a multi-talented Nigerian creative whose passions intersect science, sound, and service. Born on July 25, in Ogun State, Nigeria, he has built a dynamic career that spans environmental research, music performance, education, and customer service. Akinwale holds both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Zoology, with a specialization in Environmental Toxicology, from the prestigious University of Lagos. His academic journey was distinguished not only by his high CGPA of 4.02 but also by his innovative research on heavy metal bioaccumulation in aquatic species and electronic waste toxicity. He was honored as the "Most Talented Student" in his department during the 2017/2018 academic session. Despite his academic rigor, Akinwale’s heart beats loudly for music. Known professionally as Akinstringz, he has become a celebrated guitarist in both the gospel and secular music scenes across Nigeria. He has performed on prominent stages such as Felabration 2023, and worked with top artists including Tems, Faze, Small Doctor, Tolibian, Bukola Bekes, Sanmi Michael, Laarniyi and Beejay Sax. As a lead guitarist in various bands and ministries,his performances blend technical precision with soulful energy. Beyond music, Akinwale has demonstrated excellence in other fields. He has contributed as a Customer Experience Expert at Polaris Bank’s YES Centre, served as an Assistant Teacher nurturing young minds in primary school, and interned in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Malariology in Idi-Araba, Lagos. His multi-sector experience is matched by his versatile skillset, which includes business planning, creative thinking, team collaboration, and mentoring. Whether in a lab coat or on stage with a guitar, Akinwale embodies passion, precision, and purpose.
