You are my love, my friend, my passion, my greatest adventure, and my favourite place to be.

Watching you embrace your beautiful feminine energy has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. You are stunning, fiercely strong, ambitious, creative, and one of the most incredible mothers, and women I have ever known. You may have missed the speech, but it went something along the lines of, “… in times gone by I’d have been out all night partying, but this year, I wanted nothing more than to be at home, surrounded by friends and loved ones, laughing, joking, drinking, eating, talking, singing, dancing and making memories. Today was as much for everyone else to make memories as it was for me…”

And that’s exactly how it went down. What a beautiful fun and hilarious day.

Thanks to everyone who made the effort, especially the boys who all acted like they didn’t want to “play dress up”, yet came fully kitted out and refused to take pictures until they grabbed their hat. You know who you are (you’re in these pics).

Thanks to the Greek and Colombian family of mine who helped me cook a spread you’d have drooled over if I could add more than 20 pics, but you can drool over us all instead.

And the biggest thank you to my love @melissajurado, who carefully planned, organised, created and arranged this day of love and celebration. You make everything in life just that much better.

As a side note, thank you for the compliments, even if they were mostly from my Yiayia. This is now my new look. You can catch me on horseback on the way to work soon. Yee-har.

My dear Aki,

Where do I even begin to explain in words how much happiness you have brought into our lives?

You came into my world so gently, yet changed it so deeply.
You love me in ways I didn’t even know I needed to be loved — through patience, through care, through the smallest details that somehow mean the most.

Thank you for being my chef every day, for always serving me first, for taking care of me before yourself.
Thank you for following all my crazy ideas and adventures without hesitation, simply because you love seeing me happy.

I manifested all this shit. this old fashioned (kinda, first one tasted like watered urine and had to send it back), this cigar (was actually a not-so-secret Santa gift, that I asked for), this outfit (kinda, I have to buy suits for fat men and tailor them every damn time as I have huge titties and a models waist 💁🏼‍♂️) this body (kinda, if you don’t count the painstaking years and hours put in the gym, untold amount of injuries and slight body dysmorphia) these holidays (if you don’t count the hard work and graft put in to working to afford these luxury trip) this car (as above, ain’t nothing free in this life) these 2 Finals coming up for Trent Park, the team I manage (if you don’t count the days and hours of managing 40 grown men who’s problems and issues I have to resolve on a weekly basis to keep happy and keep us together as a team)..
and last but not least.. this Queen and family.. (ok ok, this one I really did manifest, but believe me, there’s not a thing thats “easy” about her. She requires more time, care and attention than anything else, as does our boy, and it’s always worth it).

Long story short, manifesting works, but only when coupled with hard work and ACTION. You can have anything you want in this life, but it won’t fall on your lap… unlike my cigar ash. Ffs.

Figure out what you want. Believe it like you already have it. Then get the hell up and go and get it!
