It’s small enough to fit in my hand, and I don’t need to setup a stand for faster paced shooting.

Hello :) My name is Alexander Knopp. I’m a Vancouver based editorial and portrait photographer.

I recently shot the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra outdoor concerts for the second year in a row.
Thanks to everyone that made that happen.

I primarily shoot portraits & events, but I’ve started shooting engagements & weddings recently. Stay tuned for some more content.

I watched a YouTube video by Kyle which inspired me to get my first Fuji GFX 50R + Mitakon 65mm, which ultimately led to the GFX 100 II + 55mm when I needed faster autofocus.

I love how the larger sensor size creates so much depth of field and background blur!
I’ve always been chasing that medium format look.

It’s truly rewarding to shoot portraits and capture emotion. For video work, I’ve been shooting concerts, interviews, and short form—social content for business.
