How time flies. Today makes it one year my Grandma left this market place called ”earth” to a home called "Heaven”.

Grandma,
My love and admiration for you was sincere and not a day goes by without me thinking of you.

Days roll on, time flies, but every memory I have of you
will always last. I don’t know how, but I love you more now than I did then. I choose to smile and not be sad when I think of you.
You taught me more than I ever knew.

You gave me reason to continue the fight,
Saying a better day comes after the night.

I’m forever grateful for your love Grandma,
I know you’re looking down from above. Keep resting well my lovely grandma 💐

TRIBUTE TO MY DEAREST FRIEND, GBEMISOLA GEORGE

Today, my heart is shattered💔🥹😭

I never imagined that I would be writing these words so soon, or that I would ever have to say goodbye to someone who played such a significant role in my life.

Gbemi, you came into my life during our university days and changed my academic journey forever. Before I met you, I was struggling and losing direction. Looking back now, I honestly believe that if our paths had never crossed, I might not have made it through university. You encouraged me, believed in me, and pushed me to become better.

What we shared was a friendship that many people could not understand. We were so close that people often assumed there had to be something more between us. Even our partners sometimes found it difficult to understand the bond we had. But what we shared was genuine friendship, loyalty, trust, and love in its purest form.

Your family knew it. Your friends knew it. Everyone knew that we could talk to each other about anything.

We spent countless hours talking about our future, our dreams, our success, and how we would always be there for each other no matter where life took us. Sadly, adulthood came with distance, misunderstandings, and things we should have sat down and resolved. We allowed time and life to separate us, but heaven knows that my love and respect for you never changed.

Today, I write these words with tears in my eyes and pain in my heart. The reality of your passing hurts more than I can explain. I never thought I would live to see a day when I would have to speak about you in the past tense.

Thank you for the memories.
Thank you for your friendship.
Thank you for believing in me when I struggled to believe in myself.

You may be gone from this world, but you will never be gone from my heart❤️🥺🥺

Rest peacefully, my dear friend.

Today I spoke with your mum, and through her voice I could hear the pain 💔😭 She said moving on has been so difficult. Your dad can’t sleep. Your siblings are hurting. Oyinade, your baby brother, is crying🥹😭

How do I accept that you’re gone when so much of you is still here with us? How do I believe that the friend who helped shape my life, the friend I shared dreams, laughter, secrets, and years of friendship with, is no longer a phone call away?

My heart breaks not only for myself but for everyone who loves you. For your parents😭🥺 siblings and all the lives you touched.

Gbemi, if love could bring people back, you would already be home.

Happy birthday dearest brother
Everyone have that one or two special one and @akolad_ is that one out of few that I have .

It has been over 10 years of a thriving friendship that I will eternally be grateful for.

In the past one year, I realized I haven’t been grateful to God enough for you, your person, your soul, your innate you that got me on this journey of friendship with you so here I am using this day to say “THANK YOU TO MY GOD” who brought such a pleasant and intentional soul to my life.

Happy birthday to the king of fun, king of fashion , king of relaxed energy , king of petty too sometimes 😂😂. I love you now and forever. See you in Spain soon brother ! ❤️
