The International Accordion Competition “Arrasate Hiria” 2025 has come to an end, and I would like to share my experience from this incredible place where humanity meets art, and where the accordion is living one of its greatest eras.

I was honoured to be awarded the 1st prize ex-æquo, which I share with the excellent Chinese accordionist @_zimu_wang . (Congratulations once again to him and to his teacher, Prof. @velikujala at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, and member of this year’s jury!). Also, I’d like to congratulate the 2nd prize winner @martacubas and the 3rd prize winner @emanciparts for their beautiful performances!

None of this would have been possible without my wonderful professor @lhermet.vincent at the @conservatoire_de_paris .
I continue to feel incredibly fortunate, as a student, to have such a caring, supportive teacher—one who guides his students towards the highest level of artistry. Thank you for everything!

My warmest thanks also go to the @hauspoz organising committee and to all those who make this event possible. It was truly special to feel part of your beautiful community during this year’s edition. Long live this amazing event!

Finally, thank you to all my fellow contestants, to my colleagues and to the members of the jury for the wonderful time we shared together. These moments will stay with me for a long time.

I’m really happy to share with you that yesterday I was awarded the 1st prize during the one of the most prestigious competitions in the accordion world - @accordioncompetition_vilnius 2025, where I took part in a category of concert players (without age limit). There are 2 hard days of approximately 1 hour of playing on stage behind me and I feel really honoured to be recognised and evaluated very highly by the renowned artists in the jury!
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my loved ones, who are supporting me in this difficult musical path - all of you are just priceless to me!
The special thank you goes to my current teacher prof. @lhermet.vincent for our preparation since the last semester in @conservatoire_de_paris. You are my greatest inspiration, the example of an artist and I really believe that we will achieve so much more together!
Lastly, I would like to congratulate the organising committee of the competition and specifically the artistic director @raimondassviackevicius for the outstanding organisation and level of this year’s edition - it was a pure pleasure to be a part of such an important musical event!
Greetings and congratulations to all the fellow participants!
See you, Vilnius!

Jono Nepomuko bažnyčios muzikos festivalis prasidės koncertu „Ethos kai pathos”, kuriame išvysite du jaunosios kartos akordeonistus – Joną Vozbutą ir Motiejų Dudniką, kartu su Šiaulių miesto styginių kvintetu. Klausytojų laukia išskirtinė programa nuo Renesanso epochos iki šių dienų muzikos.

Sedos Šv. Jono Nepomuko bažnyčios muzikos festivalio 2026 atidarymo koncertas jau ne už kalnų!📣
Koncerto programa „Ethos kai pathos“ atspindi senovės graikų laikais iškeltą filosofinę idėją apie muzikos galią žmogaus sielai. Antikos mąstytojai tikėjo, kad ethos (žmogaus moralinis būdas, dvasinė ramybė ir etika) bei pathos (stipri aistra, kančia ar emocinis protrūkis) yra nuolatinėje sąveikoje.
Koncerte ši idėja aiškinama atliekama muzika, nukeliančia mus į Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach kūrybos laikmetį – XVIII a. vidurį, paženklintą vėlyvojo baroko ir ankstyvojo klasicizmo virsmo. Tai buvo jautriojo stiliaus (vok. Empfindsamer Stil) suvešėjimo metas, kuomet suklestėjo afektų teorija. Pagal ją, kompozitoriaus tikslas buvo tam tikromis muzikinėmis priemonėmis sužadinti labai konkrečias klausytojo emocijas (afektus): džiaugsmą, liūdesį, pyktį, ramybę ir kt. bei tokiu būdu paveikti klausytoją.
Programoje taip pat pristatomi du Johann Sebastian Bach, Carl Philipp Emanuel tėvo, koncertai vienam bei dviems klavesinams, šiuo atveju atliekami akordeonais su styginių kvintetu. Skambės ir lietuviškoji premjera – prancūzų jaunosios kartos kompozitoriaus Sabri Belaid kūrinio „Fulgurances des eaux“ akordeonui solo. Be to, koncerto pabaigoje numatoma nedidelė muzikinė staigmena, nukelsianti klausytojus į dar gilesnį istorinį laikmetį – XVI a. pabaigą – XVII a. pradžią.
Muziką klausytojams dovanos Prancūzijoje gyvenantis akordeonistas, festivalio meno vadovas, Nacionalinės Paryžiaus aukštosios muzikos ir šokio konservatorijos studentas Jonas Vozbutas kartu su talentinguoju kolega akordeonistu, Šiaulių Sauliaus Sondeckio menų gimnazijos absolventu Motiejumi Dudniku bei Šiaulių miesto styginių kvintetu, sudarytu iš Šiaulių simfoninio orkestro „Camerata Solaris“ muzikantų.

[ RETROSPECTIVE ET JOIE ]

Depuis sa création en juin 2025 au festival Un Temps Pour Elles @citedescompositrices - co-commanditaire de l'œuvre de Claire-Mélanie Sinnhuber et soutien du projet, notre Archipel des murmures - Vera vita viva ! sera joué pour la dixième fois le 11 juillet prochain au Festival @lesmusicalesderedon !

Quelle joie profonde que la musique de création vive, se cisèle, creuse ses dialogues et ses correspondances au fil des concerts, des rencontres, des publics et des lieux.

Merci à toutes les structures qui ont accueilli ce voyage sonore tissé de sons et de mots. En ces temps emplis de marasme, chaque concert est une victoire.

Sedos Šv. Jono Nepomuko bažnyčios muzikos festivalio tradicija tęsiasi: trečiasis sezonas ir tarptautinė programa. 🎼✨
Vasara jau tapo neįsivaizduojama be muzikos, be susitikimų ir sugrįžimų į Sedą. Džiaugiamės galėdami pranešti, jog šių metų festivalis auga, plečia savo geografiją ir tampa tarptautiniu.
Šių metų programą sudaro 4 koncertai. Didžiuojamės joje turėdami keletą išskirtinių atlikėjų iš užsienio, kurių pasirodymai, neabejojame, bus užburiantys ir į Sedą atneš naujų spalvų bei muzikinio įkvėpimo visiems klausytojams.
Trečiasis festivalio sezonas nebūtų įsivaizduojamas be tų, kurie tiki mūsų vizija. Nuoširdžiai dėkojame festivalio rėmėjams: Mažeikių raj. savivaldybei ir p. Romualdui Danieliui. Taip pat džiaugiamės, jog turime ištikimus festivalio partnerius: Sedos Caritą bei Sedos parapiją, kurios priešakyje jau nuo pat festivalio įkūrimo - klebonas Virginijus Palionis.
Primename, jog festivalio organizatoriai - Sedos kultūros centras ir Genoveita Gricienė, meno vadovas - Jonas Vozbutas.
