Meet Dea Jazvin, a senior Economics major in the Boise State College of Business! 📚

This summer, Dea spent five weeks participating in Chapman University’s Smith Institute Summer Scholars Program, gaining hands-on experience in experimental economics research. Through working alongside her mentor, analyzing data, developing variables, and contributing to an experiment, Dea was able to apply her classroom knowledge in a real research setting.

Beyond her research, Dea participated in daily reading groups exploring topics like democracy, power, and environmental philosophy, expanding her perspective both within and beyond economics.

We’re proud to highlight Dea’s commitment to research, curiosity, and continued academic growth! 🎓 by @akpsiboise

Kenzie Dillman is a Business Administration major at Boise State University with a minor in Marketing and certifications in Professional Selling and Resort & Hospitality Management.

This summer, she has been working as a Field Sales Intern with Hershey, gaining hands-on experience in sales, merchandising, and retail execution. Her role includes visiting stores across the valley to ensure products are stocked, displays are maintained, and seasonal promotions and new product launches are successfully executed.

Through this experience, Kenzie has developed skills in relationship building, merchandising, and data-driven selling by working directly with store managers and using sales insights to identify opportunities for growth. She has also had the opportunity to shadow team members in Idaho Falls and Twin Falls, expanding her understanding of the business. As the busy holiday season approaches, she looks forward to continuing her growth and gaining even more experience in the field. by @akpsiboise
