I have been struggling with this ire, and I feel it so completely. Nothing warrants different treatment - not a lack of understanding, not a difference of opinion, and certainly not religious beliefs. No amount of hate changes the validity and beauty of any and all kinds of love. by @aks_writing_

a poem i wrote a bit ago that i finally revised. i hadn’t anticipated emotionally losing my grandmother when my grandfather passed. i was drawn back to this poem as last night, my mom talked about how much he loved and cherished me. she apologized, feeling badly that i lost my first buddy and intellectual lifeline, even though she lost her hero. there aren’t words for how much i miss him, but i know i won’t stop trying to find them 🩷
