A haircut can be the beginning of something.
Recently, I found myself wondering:

What happens to hair after its first life?

We cut it.
We forget about it.

But hair is not just something we leave behind.

At SELASIH 2026, we started exploring the possibility of a second life for hair, alongside a bigger conversation about how we rethink what we call “waste.”

The day moved from Green Talks into a hands-on Kokedama workshop using the hair slow release fertilizer, bringing people together to share, question, make, and learn.

Different materials.
Different perspectives.
One simple question:

Can we look at what we usually throw away differently?
Maybe sustainability begins there. 🌱
