Thrilled to share that the Royal Enfield Social Mission film ‘Go North’ by Akshay Sharma (@aksharma_ ) has won Bronze at the Good Ads Matter Awards, in the Creative Group - Films for Good category under Corporate Purpose & Social Responsibility. A collaboration between Royal Enfield Social Mission, EKA (@ekaco), led by design mentor Rina Singh (@rinasing09), and Looms of Ladakh (@loomsofladakh), the film takes viewers on a cinematic journey into the high-altitude heartlands of Ladakh. It shines a light on the region’s pastoral and textile traditions that have sustained communities for generations. Through the lens of The Himalayan Knot—a Royal Enfield Social Mission Initiative—the film delivers a visual ode to handcrafted textiles, circular economies, and women-led artisan efforts. It shows how fashion, craft, and conservation can come together to safeguard intangible cultural heritage and build pathways to resilience.
