thank you soccer.
this is a post that’s taken me about 3 months to make. after 13 years of soccer i made the choice a few months ago to no longer play. i am forever grateful for the lifelong friendships, the opportunities, and the mentorships that this sport has given me. thank you to my family for always being my biggest supporters and never missing a game in all the 13 years. thank you to my teammates who were always there when i needed it the most. thank you to the coaches who truly believed in me and helped me grow both as a soccer player and a person. soccer has been a part of my life since i was born and though i may not play anymore, it will always hold a special place in my heart. although this is a post that i didn’t think i’d be making until my senior year, i’m so thankful for everyone who has supported me through this decision.
with all that said, thank you God for giving me the opportunity to play this sport and for blessing me with everyone and everything that came with it.🤍 by @akstef1903
