One of our favourite moments from AktaClass.

At its core acting is an exercise in connection and @sometimescerys and @alessandro_curetti make that connection look effortless in this scene. Two really wonderful actors 👏👏👏

Direction by our excellent @danieldebourg of @theartoftheselftape 👌

Monologues are the toughest thing to ‘stop acting’ in.

No exchange. No one there to bounce off and alter the course of the piece.

Just you, rolling and rolling…

That’s the monologue trap.

Hide it. Humanize it. Don’t perform it.

This is an example of what we work through in my AKTA Pro sessions, a room full of committed actors, on Blackmagic cameras, me in the room with you.

🇬🇧 UK actors -

Comment PRO and I’ll DM you everything you need to apply.

US actors in New York and LA, I’m coming. Stay tuned. 🇺🇸
