Bergen 2026 - Part 3/3
The festival itself. Four days and nights of metal. This year, it included bands like Rotting Christ, Electric Wizard, Castle Rat, Marduk, Alcest, Gaahl’s WYRD, Saturnalia Temple, Angell, Bölzer and last but not least : Emperor. They gave us an insane set, and Faust and Mortiis joined them. This isn’t something I ever imagined I’d see. by @akvod

Bergen 2026 - Part 2/3
Beyond the Gates is not « just another » festival, it’s an experience on many levels. Several sites, visits of historical places linked to the metal scene (including the Fantoft church but I visited it already), exhibitions, the best market with incredible creations such as @downwiththemosthighprod Emperor collection. There is also a tattoo convention but I lacked time to visit it. by @akvod

Bergen 2026 - Part 1/3
It’s my third time in this lovely town and I am always happy to come back. This first part is the more « tourist » aspect of the stay. Delicious food, beautiful landscapes, eerie streets. by @akvod

For about a year, I made several custom button pins. It was a source of motivation to see No Future one day. Now that I had the chance to see them, each new one will be a celebration. Thank you again so much for an awesome show in Bruxelles! @ggrotesque by @akvod

Now that 2025 is over, I took a moment to reflect upon that year.
While I’ve been through some difficult times -loosing a very good friend, losing my job, failing my driver’s licence- the good largely overcome the bad.
I traveled to new places, I spent more time with my best friend than I did since she left, I brought my boyfriend to his first metal show, I’ve been to plenty of shows myself, I even followed a band on tour, I crafted a lot, especially my battle vest that I am very proud of, I shot a gun for the first time, and many others things.
I have plenty of projects for 2026 and I am looking forward to them. I wish you all the best ✨ by @akvod
