GUEST LOUNGE LESSON RECAP 🚨

We appreciate all of you who came out to our successful guest lounge lesson, directed by the one and only @al._cooke 🖤

We discussed eye opening topics regarding the portrayal of Blackness and Black trauma in mainstream media (films, media, movies, etc.) 🎥

We encourage you all to look into the media that you consume and learn about how we are represented and who we are represented by in modern day entertainment culture!

We hope you all had a wonderful time off - to resume from the break, this Monday (11/27) one of our members will be hosting a guest lounge lesson! This will be a conversation based on the depiction of Black trauma in media 🎬

Where and when? 7pm in the DLH Lounge 🤎

We hope to see you there and can’t wait to hear you all share your thoughts and opinions, especially considering the world we live in today!

See you 🔜 taken in Douglass Leadership House (DLH) by @al._cooke
