An ode to the pool.

My gran took me swimming in the communist GDR when I was around four years old. As we had to flee the country shortly after, I never made it to the promised USSR championships. Well, history sorted that one out in the end.

Here is one of the finest pools for morning swims, quaintly nestled in the rolling hills and forest of the Neckar Valley. Every morning, the race of the 70+ aged frequent swimmers would start at the opening gates to get their preferred lanes. What a privilege to start every day 🌳☀️💦

Now, off to the saltwater pools down south. by @al_wittig

I’m in awe of the knowledge and wisdom we experienced today. Nature is all, nature is us, and nature provides for us where and when we need it.

I just returned from the World Youth Travel conference in Lisbon, and it was as always the best time to connect with friends and professionals of our industry!

At the same time, wandering the streets and parks keeps one sane in a world of madness.

Being on the river is always a vibe. You gently float along or you give it some steam and cruise along the shores. This river was a mighty with lots of crocs 🌞

This is a beautiful door. It’s also a door that keeps your drinking in check. If you come home smashed and you slip on the stairs, you’ll die when you fall forward.

Not only beautiful, but also good!

See you soon again Mosi-oa-Tunya! On a hot day in Vic Falls the walk along the edge with the vape of the Zambezi in your face feels just great.
