3 months old, and she already has a favourite book (even if she dozes off halfway through 😴) She gets SO immersed sometimes that she’ll happily play on her own. At this age, it’s not really about “reading.” It’s about sound, colour, touch, and hearing a voice she loves, and Ditty Bird books make that so easy. They’re made for ages 0 to 3, so there’s a book for every stage! Some of my FAVOURITE things about Ditty Bird (as a mom of 2): 🔋 Rechargeable, with up to 9 hours of play, so no more hunting for batteries 🇨🇳 Mandarin editions, like Singing Chinese Poems, so my little ones can start young. For a lot of us, it’s a small way to keep our first language in the house  We have 25+ books on our website, plus bundle options. We’ve been loving a few things from @aladdinkids.ca lately! Aladdin Kids was started by parents who wanted Asian Canadian families to have easier access to products that families across Asia have trusted for years. They’re the exclusive Canadian distributor of Chiaus, which has been trusted by families across Asia for over a decade, and now Canadian families can easily get their hands on them too! My favourite has definitely been the Chiaus pull-up diapers. You can really feel how premium they are, and I’m so glad Ellis gets to have the comfiest pull-ups while he’s potty training. Ellis’ favourites are the Ditty Bird books. They’re interactive and he has been having so much fun with them! And with our Muddy Buddy, the boys can now spend more time outside playing in the dirt, mud and sand without me having an anxiety attack over how dirty they’re going to get themselves and their clothes 🙌🏻 📍Chiaus is available at aladdinkids.ca, and now on Walmart.ca too #torontomoms #markhammoms #torontoparents #muddybuddy #toddlermusthaves by @aladdinkids.ca
Moms, please take a moment to read this. Especially if you’re in the hard part right now. With my first son, I panicked over every rash, every bad night, every cry I couldn’t figure out. With my second, I worried less. Not because he was easier, but because I finally trusted myself. That’s what I wish someone had told me the first time around, and why I created Aladdin Kids 💛 Which stage was the hardest for you? Share it in the comments, let’s talk. Convincing all moms to buy these wipes ☁️ I’ve gone through a lot of wipe brands with two boys. Some were too thin, some smelled like a candle store, and some were bone-dry by the last few in the pack. These ones from Bc Babycare are the ones that stayed in our changing basket! It’s one of those small everyday things you don’t think about until you find one that just works. 🛒 Stock up at the link in bio 💬 Prefer Mandarin? Quality > quantity. Aladdin Kids started after our second son was born, with one rule: if we wouldn’t use it with our own boys, it doesn’t go on the site. That rule is the core of everything we do, and we’ll keep sharing the products that earn their spot with Canadian moms, to make motherhood a little easier 💛 🛒 Shop with link in bio 💬 Prefer Mandarin? We asked a few Chiaus moms to tell us what actually changed once they made the switch 👶💛 Why do we insist on providing these diapers? Because we want Asian Canadian kids to actually ENJOY the good stuff. Chiaus has been a trusted name for families across Asia for over a decade, so we brought it here and became its exclusive distributor in Canada. All we want is for more families to discover it — because we’ve been there too, as parents 🥹 And now it’s easier to find than ever: shop Chiaus at aladdinkids.ca or on Walmart.ca, as easy to grab as any everyday essential! Swipe through to hear from Olivia, Jasmin, and Vivian. Thank you so much for sharing 💛 Have a Chiaus moment of your own? Tell us in the comments or send us a DM — we love hearing what’s working (and what’s not) for your family. Summer Playdate 2026 Recap! Thank you to every family who spent the afternoon with us 💛 For two hours, we had Kerrisdale Play Place all to ourselves — bouncy castles, wooden climbers, sensory play, and a whole lot of happy, tired little ones by the end 🎈 We loved watching the kids run wild together, but our favourite part was seeing you, the parents, connect. Trading tips, comparing notes, discovering new products, and being in the same room as other families who just get it. That’s the whole reason we started Aladdin Kids. Early parenthood can feel lonely, and we wanted to build the kind of community we wished we’d had when we became parents. A big thank you to our event partners: @lingoace — supporting our little learners with the gift of Chinese language learning 📸 Bamboo Photo — capturing the family moments throughout the event We can’t wait to do it again so follow along so you don’t miss the next one 🫶 VancouverMoms RichmondBC BurnabyMoms CoquitlamMoms MetroVancouver BCMoms VancouverFamilies RichmondMoms VancouverSummer FamilyFunBC KidsActivitiesVancouver by @aladdinkids.ca
Tell me you’re an Asian parent without telling me you’re an Asian parent 🍚 People call it extra. We call it caring a little louder. It all comes from the same place: wanting them safe, fed, and okay. We can laugh at ourselves and still not change a thing. What’s one we missed? Let me know in the comments 🤗 Baby essentials, newborn essentials, baby must-haves, mom essentials, new mom essentials, parenting tips, parenting hacks, baby products, new parents, motherhood, parenthood by @aladdinkids.ca
