Tradition says that a basket must never be empty. It is always the carrier of not just a single story but many stories, holding gifts of kindness, generosity and love. So when taking your basket to a friends home, carry something in it to give to the owner. And when leaving, your friend is to place something inside the basket to take with you. This way the act of giving continues and the basket carries those gifts from heart to heart and from home to home.

Available in store now, these handcrafted, one-of-a-kind baskets are made by women artisans in Kenya.

Prices range from $180 - $230
