From Queens to Shanghai, I’m still processing this entire experience. Thankful to be able to share my mother’s story and my heritage(🇯🇲 to the world).

This trip inspired & showed me how far I can push myself creatively when pressure is added. Being vulnerable enough to put your ideas out there & opening up for yourself for critiques is never easy. However it is necessary and part of the game, I’m grateful for it.

I laughed, cried, explored, and most importantly grew. I learned from other incredible stories and had amazing food and experiences with some phenomenal people.

Our individual stories brought us together and now our collective journey gives us a new story to tell.

Huge thank you to the entire @jumpman23 and Jumpman NYC team and everyone who had a hand in making this experience possible.

Wait okay, been a little busy lately..
I’m honored to be the very first ever winner at the Jordan Design Studio for NYC!

Last month, I spent 3 days reimagining the Air Jordan 1 through my own lens from concept to finished product and packaging.

The inspiration started with my mother. A quiet legend who was working heavily in the music industry at the time, singing background vocals for some of the greats like Alpha Blondy and the Wailers. She’s always been humble about her story and her accomplishments, so this shoe became my moment to champion her story.

A sneaker rooted in my original inspiration (my mom), my Jamaican culture🇯🇲, and the world that shaped me—while carrying pieces of my past, present, and the future I’m building.

I won NYC & now I’ll be heading to Shanghai 🇨🇳 to try to win the world at The One Global Finals on 8.30!

I‘m overly grateful for this experience & excited to see what happens next.

last month, i had the very special opportunity to create a few pieces for the release of the AJ6s in partnership with @jumpman23 and @snipes_usa, highlighting creative women in the industry. ❤️

that experience was followed by a special in store event at @snipes_usa on valentine’s day where i was highlighted as a designer and gifted a few @nayrstudio pieces that were created exclusively for this event.

i’m incredibly grateful for this experience and the opportunity connect with the community, share my art, and spread a little love through what i create.   huge thank you to @agency3_2 @jumpman23 @snipes_usa for putting this all together.
it was truly special ❤️🫂
