Happy 5th birthday to the light of my life. ✨

I truly can’t believe how fast these last five years have gone. Becoming your mom has been the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me. You’ve taught me unconditional love, patience, resilience, and a kind of strength I never knew I had. Life didn’t fully make sense to me until you came into it.

This past year has been one of the most transformative yet. Watching you start school, grow in confidence, and absolutely thrive has been such an emotional and beautiful journey. We finally found the right school, the right teachers, and the right support system for you; and seeing you happy, supported, and succeeding means everything to me. I’m still in disbelief that you’re about to graduate preschool and start kindergarten in the fall.

You are pure sunshine, the sweetest soul, and the brightest light in every room. I honestly can’t imagine life without you in it. I hope this year brings you endless happiness, growth, laughter, and love.

My Quinny, my Nae Nae, my piggy, my baby girl 🕊️👑

From the very beginning, you were meant to be ours. When your daddy found you at the shelter, he knew at first sight, YOU were the one. The prettiest, sweetest puppy there. The entire staff adored you, and from that moment on, so did everyone who ever met you.

And when I met you, I could tell right away how much you loved your daddy. You even tried to intimidate me a little but in no time at all, we became inseparable. You were my girl, and I was your mommy. You were my soul dog.

If someone told me just a few days ago that we’d never see you again, I would’ve said “stfu… she’s just a baby.” (Even though you would’ve been 10 this year…) I still don’t understand how you were here one moment and gone the next. When the vet told us what happened, everything went black.

I hope you’re running free in the clouds, happy and pain free. I know my dad is up there taking the best care of you, just like we did down here.

I’ll never forget our morning breakfast dates, our hikes in the woods, and the way you rested your head on our pillows like you were human. The excitement you had every time I walked through the door…

And I’ll never forget those 2–3am nights when Blaise was a newborn. You stayed up with me like you just knew I needed you. You were there in the quiet, keeping me company, like you were part of it all.

You protected us, you loved us, and you made our house feel like home.

You were the goofiest, sweetest girl. Our princess. You didn’t even have to try to make us laugh, you just did, by being you.

I hope you felt my last snuggles and kisses before I left you. I hope you knew how deeply you were loved.

There will never be another you, Nae Nae. You will always hold the most special place in my heart.

I will carry a lifetime of missing you for the privilege of loving you for all of yours.
