Hello Alameda Friends,
We are excited to see you at the next Alameda Green Drinks on May 20 from 5:30 - 7pm. This time we are meeting at the REAP Climate Center, alongside their weekly community potluck and campfire. This is a family friendly gathering, with plenty of room for kids to bring games and run around.
This event is BYO drinks and food. We will provide nonalcoholic drinks and pizza, and encourage you to bring something to share as well.
We have a vibrant and growing community of passionate professionals working across clean energy, climate, sustainability, and the environment -- and look forward to bringing this powerful group of innovators together and building a strong network in our community.
Purpose of this event (a very casual happy hour organized by fellow Alamedans) is to introduce like-minded locals. We will take time around 6pm for everyone to introduce themselves.

Rotary Lithium-Ion Battery Recycling on May 16 11:00-3:00 at City Hall Plaza
On the Rotary International Day of Service on May 16, the Rotary Club of Alameda is partnering with Redwood Materials to recycle lithium-ion batteries for the good of the planet. Drop off your lithium-ion batteries and items that contain the lithium-ion batteries, such as cell phones, laptops, tablets, rechargeable power tools, electric toothbrushes, wireless headphones, Bluetooth speakers, vaping devices, and any other rechargeable device with a lithium-ion battery, in front of Alameda City Hall at 2263 Santa Clara Avenue from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on May 16. Do not bring car batteries. Look for the Rotary banner and friendly volunteers. Two parking spaces will be reserved for drop off in front of Alameda City Hall Plaza. by @alameda_casa

Join CASA, Aquameridian, and DOER Marine for our monthly coastal clean up at Alameda Point. Meet us at the Sea Plane Lagoon Promenade 1801 Ferry Point, Alameda 94501. Saturday, May 9, 10AM – 12PM (and on the second Saturday of every month).

For folks who can’t make it on Saturdays, join us on Tuesday, May 19 at 5PM. Meet at Encinal Beach, 150-225 Central Avenue (near the boat ramp behind Encinal Junior & Senior High School).
