For my birthday on April 29th, I enjoyed a relaxing few days with my friend Tommy at his house on Cozy Lake in NJ. 🏡
We left the hustle and bustle, noise, and crowds of NYC behind, and following no particular schedule, we savored some good food, drank no booze, believe it or not, and put candles that represented 71 years (OMG!) on my cake. 🎂
Our most ambitious activity was to visit the beautiful Great Falls in Paterson, which Alexander Hamilton wisely saw as a means of creating energy for an industrial city that he co-founded here. 💦
We enjoyed the peaceful natural of this National Park, and were even blessed with a subtle but very gay rainbow (see photo #3) of joy. 🌈 taken in Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park by @alan.j.anderson

The actual KING of England just landed a huge knockout blow to the foolish WANNABE king of the US!

Even better, in complete contrast to the typically vulgar, childish mannerisms of the inept Orange Dictator, King Charles spoke calmly and articulately, with brains, vision, dignity, and class, and not even a hint of profanity. BRAVO! 👑 by @alan.j.anderson

President Biden never nodded off, even briefly, much less fell dead asleep during a meeting or press conference, but this geriatric Orange Dictator, who rudely and shamelessly called his predecessor "Sleepy Joe" has passed out cold at several official, public appearances. WTF?

This schmuck needs to be put to sleep permanently, since he is obviously far more exhausted than Madeline Kahn's character sang about in "Blazing Saddles" (turn the volume up and enjoy!) LOL 😴🤪😴🤣😴 by @alan.j.anderson

Anyone who complains about shopping at the giant Ikea stores because the experience can be overwhelming, confusing, or even boring, has obviously never spent time shopping in their fabulous pillow section. 😍 by @alan.j.anderson

The Georgia legislature just blocked 15 hateful, homophobic laws that would've put the life, liberty, health and/or safety of LGBTQ+ people in the Peach State in grave danger. 🍑

Hooray! ALL FIFTEEN of these anti-LGBTQ+ bills were stopped dead, in a state that in recent years has been leaning kinda purple politically, but is still a deeply conservative, MAGA stronghold, where MTG made her fame. 😡

This is what democracy looks like. This is what needs to happen in every state across the country. But it can only happen when lots of people come together with the diligence, dedication, devotion, patience, persistence and passion to do the right thing. 🏳️‍🌈💜🏳️‍⚧️

Be sure to turn on the volume and be inspired by the classic song by Ray Charles. If a black man like Ray can sing so warmly about a state that was founded on hateful prejudice and slavery for hundreds of years, maybe we all can. 😇

The price of gas is already so exorbitant that if it goes any higher, or even if it just stays this high for a long time, hard working Americans might have to sacrifice some of the basics of daily life, or be forced to choose between things like paying for gas or paying for clothing!

I fully blame the Orange Dictator for all of this, with his unplanned, illogical, unprovoked, completely unnecessary, extremely costly, and deadly, war on Iran. 😱 🤪 by @alan.j.anderson

Oh, Canada, I'm pretty sure that most people in the US who have even half a brain (which leaves out all MAGA types!) feel the same way... and that's why so many of us will be joining another 'No Kings Rally' this Saturday, March 28th, as we take to the streets in almost every city and town across this country to make our voices of protest heard! 😡 by @alan.j.anderson
