Beer and pizza… what a combination! 🍺🍕

We stopped at Mitten Brewing Company in Northport, Michigan, to check out the brewery and try the pizza from North End Pizzeria, located right inside the brewery.

They’re cooking in what they call the “Big Hot Woody” — a massive wood-fired oven that can reach temperatures of up to 1,000°! 🔥🍕 The owner has been making pizza for 35 years, and they’re known for putting together some really creative combinations.

So how did we like the beer and the pizza from these two collaborators? You’ll have to watch the video to find out!

Pam and I are making our way up north, and we made a stop in Stevensville, Michigan, at Hareloom Café! After doing a video at Bit of Swiss Bakery a couple of months ago, we heard that Hareloom gets their bread from Bit of Swiss — so we had to come check out their breakfast for ourselves. 🥪🍳

Hareloom is located in what they describe as the oldest building in Stevensville, and you can still see the history inside, including the original tin ceilings. It’s a pretty cool setting for breakfast!

But the real question was… did Hareloom do justice to that famous Bit of Swiss bread? 🤔 Come along with us and see what we thought!

Sometimes the food review is the easy part! 😂 I was standing outside A Bite Of Mexico in Mokena, Illinois, trying to get my opening right… and somehow it took me about 20 takes! 🤦‍♂️😂

Cameron and I stopped by Slaw Burger today to see what they were all about! 🍔🍗

We had to try their Smashburger, and we also checked out their $6.99 two-piece dark fried chicken special, which comes with fries and a roll. We added the spicy chicken tenders, and then we spotted something we couldn’t pass up—banana pudding! 🍌 We both love banana pudding, so of course we had to give it a try.

But after trying everything, would I recommend you stop by Slaw Burger? Watch the video and see what we thought!

Pam and I took another couple with us to check out Mangiamo’s on Main in downtown Genoa, Illinois. It’s only been open for about three months, but it’s already making some noise, and I love finding these newer local restaurants!

Mangiamo’s is located in a building that dates back to 1917, right in the heart of downtown Genoa. And this little downtown is so cute, you’d almost expect a horse and buggy to come rolling down Main Street! 😂

We tried several things from the menu, but the big question is… how was the food? Was Mangiamo’s worth the trip to Genoa? Watch the review and see what we thought!

My followers told me I HAD to try the tacos at Big Rig Taco Truck in Franklin Park, Illinois, so I had to find out what all the buzz was about! 🌮🔥

I asked which taco I should try, and the answer was simple: “You definitely have to try the Quesabirria!” So that’s exactly what I ordered. They came with two different salsas, a red and a green, and now the big question… how did I like them? 👀🌮

Our last night on the Isle of Palms called for one more great dinner, so eight of us headed over to The Longboard on Sullivan’s Island! 🌴🍽️

We went all in with Caribbean cocktails, grilled oysters, appetizers, whole fried fish, fresh scallops, pad Thai, and a pan-seared tuna steak. And the desserts… you’re going to want to see those! 👀🍰

It was quite a feast for the eyes, but the real question is: how did everything taste? Come along with us to The Longboard for our final dinner of the trip and see what we thought!

Eight of us headed to Acme Lowcountry Kitchen on the Isle of Palms for some Lowcountry cooking, fresh seafood, oysters, and a whole lot of food! 🦪🦐

The place was buzzing, the vibe was fantastic, and everyone was incredibly friendly. We were hungry and ready to try it all, so we may have ordered half the menu! 😂

From the seafood to the Lowcountry favorites, we had plenty to taste and plenty to talk about. But did Acme live up to the hype? Check out the video and see what we thought!

Four couples, one incredible rental house, and our first night on Isle of Palms! 🌴🏡

This place is spectacular—a beautiful pool, rustic feel, and the perfect setting for a getaway with friends. Tonight we’re staying in and cooking up a feast: filet mignon, salmon, baked potatoes, green beans, salad, and some really good wine! 🍷🥩🐟

We were in Johns Island, South Carolina, when we passed a Waffle House and my friend Danny told me he had NEVER been to one before! 😳

How could you visit South Carolina and not experience Waffle House?! 😂 So Danny, his wife, Pam and I had to stop in and introduce him to this Southern institution.

We tried some of the classics and, of course, had to see what Danny thought of his very first Waffle House experience. Was he impressed? Did it live up to the hype? Watch and find out! 🧇🍳🥓

Savannah, Georgia with Pam and another couple! We spent the day exploring this beautiful historic city, checking out the sights, enjoying the incredible atmosphere, and of course… eating everything we possibly could! 😋

Savannah has such a great vibe, the people we met were incredibly friendly, and we really enjoyed the food. There’s so much history, beautiful architecture, amazing trees and plenty of great places to eat.

We had a fantastic time exploring Savannah, and it’s definitely a city we really enjoyed experiencing!
