Today I turn 30.
To quote the song I used in this video -
When we do encounter the difficult things in life
Rather than running, we can get to a place in ourselves
Where it is really peaceful
Extremely powerful
And it just seems right. ☀️

Solo to A Couple Minutes by Olivia Dean -
choreographed + freestyled by yours truly for the @motionzdance_ show back in April 💙

This solo was my heart and soul put into a dance. This song and especially this album by @oliviadeano got me through one of the toughest periods of my life thus far. Dance has allowed me to share parts of me in ways I never imagined. I was going back and forth about whether or not I should share this on socials because it was such a vulnerable piece but that’s what this art form is all about. I hope (if you watch the whole thing lol) you can resonate with it in some way. Shoutout to my Motionz family. This entire show was one for the books. Much love 💞 by @alanadelreyy_

Unbothered isn’t cold.
It’s healed.
She didn’t chase.
She chose herself.
