Everytime I come across this section in the flooring department, I literally touch on these two specifically. The #writer in me knowing she doesn’t belong, and is meant for something grander. But maybe one day… just maybe… she’ll reach her potential. #screenwriting #dreams #homedepot by @alanaloko

Survived another damn #mercuryretrograde 😩 managed to write, keep my job at the Home Depot, not text my ex. Grateful for the little things that make life wonderful despite the little fires everywhere 🙏🏾 maybe I can go to Los Angeles at the end of January if I get my mind & money right 🤣 ok bye #screenwriting #dreams #brownskingirl by @alanaloko

#summer is off to a cool start. Finished a draft of a short, inspired by one of my more recent #perimenopausal episodes. About a chick who just wanted to relax after work, but her remote control won’t allow it. From #rage to regret. #screenwriting makes me beam with joy. And rage. But more joy 😜 by @alanaloko

Keep the faith, golden girl ✨ #retail will not be your final destination. One day @sundanceorg will present to you the Waldo Salt #screenwriting award. Don’t stop #writing. Your intuition is sharp as hell. You feel it in your bones that you’re meant for more. The talent is there! #potential is what drives you. Go shine ✍🏾 by @alanaloko

If anyone is protecting me and my immediate family, it’s her. My grandmother. The protagonist in my WIP is named after her 🙏🏾🤍 #angel #spirit #grandmother #divineprotection by @alanaloko
