So, I graduated a bit over a month ago, and I've been trying to find the right words to say, now that i'm closing that chapter of my life. Iowa Western and these past 2 years have been the best years of my life so far. There were a lot of ups and downs along the way, but all I want to say is thank you. To everyone that I met in this journey, I'll take you in my heart wherever I go. I like to think that when you leave a place, if people miss you, that meant you did something right. I'll miss IW and I'll specially miss you, my friends, my family. You did a lot of right things, and I just hope you will miss me to. I love you all, and I pray life is kind enough to allow us to see each other again, someday. by @alanavgarcia

This season went by so fast, It's crazy to think that this team, that is now my family, were strangers to me not longer than 4 months ago. We grew through every challenge and builded memories that will last a lifetime. To my teammates, thank you so much for making this so special, It's such an incredible honor to be your captain. I'm sure I have friends here that will love and support me for the rest of my life, and I hope you know that I will do the same. To my sophomores: i love you all so much, thank you for every lesson you taught me, for the guidance you gave us (freshman) from day one. We will carry on your legacy to next season, and we will do this thing, for you. To my coaches, Adam, Marcela and Gabi: thank you for the opportunity and for the advice, I've become a better version of myself, in and off the field, and so much is because of you. I will never take that for granted. Lastly, I'd like to say that yes, It wasn't the end we wanted, one game short from what we dreamed. This is something that will hurt for a while, but it will also make us stronger. I'd go through everything again even knowing the outcome, because our journey was awesome, and i'm so excited to see what time will bring for us in the next months. by @alanavgarcia
