This is an opportunity I can't pass up. An invite to an art show in the middle of a Napa Valley vineyard. The artist @caseyoconnell__ has the rather uncommon ability to transform pretty much anything into art. Don't believe me? Check it out. by @alanbamberger

40 year memorial retrospective of paintings @modernisminc by @jameshaywardstudio (1943-2026) dating from 1975 through 2013. Outstanding among his early works are three highly polished multilayered grayscale pieces with surfboard-like sheens. His signature paintings are sumptuous monochrome impostos so thick and rich they literally mesmerize you with texture. What a great show. His daughter Ashley is in attendance to commemorate the occasion. ◼️ On view through October 31 #modernisminc #jameshayward he will be missed by @alanbamberger

Art about the natural world for the most part, including us in it c/o @chandlergallery in the former Altman Siegel space. With plenty of details to consider up close. I'm partial to two pieces by @tiffanybozic particularly the one of California Yellow Jackets in proximity to the entryway of their abode. 🐝 #chandlergallery #pinkiecam on view through October 24 by @alanbamberger

Rigorous regimented conceptual renderings of the Sierra Nevada foothills, topographic and memory blends, are displayed alongside dense diminutive multicolor abstractions which appear similarly diligent in decidedly intuitive ways. @blaiserosenthal @municipalbonds ⛰️ #municipalbonds #municipalbondsgallery on view through October 31 by @alanbamberger

"I like to give back what I get from nature... the beauty and the sorrow, the calm and the chaos, the life that flourishes and the life that is threatened. I paint not only what I see, but what I feel when I witness the changes happening around us." Accomplished abstractions of nature and what appear to be several figural works as well. @isabelle_maynard @gallery60six @mspfoundation 🌫️ #gallery60six by @alanbamberger

Group show of significant works by noteworthy artists from across Africa @artofcontemporaryafrica . One of the best things about the show are posted full page descriptions of the art, the artists, and aspects of the work that help us better understand and appreciate their compositions and meanings. An illuminating cross-cultural experience for sure. Definitely recommended. 🌍 #artofcontemporaryafrica by @alanbamberger
