We’re building a Real Estate Development company through an architects eye.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I launched my own real estate advisory firm.

New Concept Development is focused on the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and we specialize in predevelopment advisory, entitlement management, capital stack strategy, and development oversight for developers, investors, nonprofits, and institutions navigating complex projects.

We advise clients through the full development cycle and actively support project execution, providing senior-level development expertise to the owner’s side of the table.

My background includes over 15 years in architecture, construction management, economic development, and complex mixed-use development. This experience includes eight years at Combined Properties Incorporated, culminating in South Alex, a $135M development in Alexandria featuring HUD 221(d)(4) financing for 400 residential units, 41 townhomes, and 40,000 SF of retail. I hold a B.Arch from Howard University and an MRED from Georgetown.

If you need support on a project in planning or in progress in the DC Metro area, or know someone who does, I would welcome the conversation. taken in Washington D. C. by @alanbhenderson

WFH but make it drip💦. Check out this BEFORE (before I moved in☝🏾) & AFTER! The previous owner turned this alcove into a makeshift closet, but I needed a place with work, so I switched it up. Everything single element has meaning and purpose. While I fine tune my style, I lean on clean lines, items that tell a story, and trending pieces to keep it fresh. So tell me what you think! Are you ready to give your office a refresh?!

I said simple, not easy. If you can see it in your mind, you can hold it in your hand. This kitchen renovation to longer than expected, but I got what I wanted, and you can too. Don’t give up on your dreams.

It’s critical not to overpay for land. You make the money on the front end of the deal; not on the back end.

I think they would be in shock and disbelief. I’d reassure them that their sacrifice is the reason I have this life. I think they’d be proud of how I represent their legacy. Once I caught them up to speed they would tell me to get back to work because there A LOT more progress to be made. taken in Chesapeake Bay by @alanbhenderson

I want people around that support this version of my life. I put a call out. A few answered and one showed up. We talked about life, career, and strategy. Exactly the conversations that align with this season. @solipsisthedonist, thanks for coming out!

Learning golf the same way I’m scaling NCD.

Growth isn’t about being an expert on day one. It’s about reps and locking in on the target 🎯

Keep your eyes on the Ball. 1% better.
