After almost five years, Argentine producer Alan Cerra makes a welcome return to The Purr with As You Are, a two-track release that beautifully reflects his evolving musical identity. Drawing from his long-standing connection to Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno, and Organic House, Cerra creates a sound that feels both atmospheric and emotionally engaging.

Listen & Download https://go.protonradio.com/r/rlzp2pl13bzz4

The release moves through warm organic textures, flowing progressive melodies, and carefully balanced rhythmic elements, creating an immersive journey across both tracks. There is a clear sense of maturity in the production, with Cerra allowing the melodies and subtle details to develop naturally rather than relying on unnecessary intensity.

Born and raised in Río Gallegos in southern Argentina, Alan Cerra has developed a distinctive sound shaped in part by his early influence from the trance scene of the 2000s. As You Are is a strong return to The Purr, showcasing that versatility while delivering the melodic depth and organic character that have become an important part of his musical signature.

Supported by Luciano Scheffer, Gorkiz, d-phrag, Dio S, Fernando Ferreyra, DJ Buddy Suwijn, Weird Sounding Dude, Urmet K, Doga Erbek, Rory Cochrane, etc.

Closing the release is a remix of Radiance from Alan Cerra, who returns to Movement Recordings as a familiar and trusted contributor. The Argentine artist introduces a groove driven interpretation, leaning into rolling basslines, hypnotic percussion and subtle melodic shifts. His version adds a darker edge while retaining the emotional resonance of the original, delivering a refined progressive rework that complements the EPs overall narrative.
