Moving, learning, and finding our rhythm together. 💫
We’re grateful to have our external dance facilitator, @alankurian2 , at Dhurii, sharing his unique movement format, Handshift, with our students and movers who joined in for the two days session.

Some captured moments from the class—from Alan guiding and teaching, to students exploring, learning, and expressing themselves through movement. What makes it even more special are the students’ own reflections on how much they enjoyed the experience.

At Dhurii, we’re thankful for facilitators like Alan who bring new forms, perspectives, and possibilities into our learning spaces. Here’s to movement, connection, and the joy of always learning something new. ❤️

Glimpses of my choreography - 𝗜𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀

A movement piece inspired by drifting underwater forms, swaying grasses, and the feeling of wind against the body.
Through shifting rhythms and changing energies, the work explores how bodies move, respond, and transform.

Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.

Handshift at Dhurii returns as a 2-day intensive, with @alankurian2

Over two days, we’ll spend time going deeper into technique, alignment, and how weight moves and shifts across the body.

Date: 8th (Saturday) & 9th (Sunday) August
Time: 12- 2PM

Whether you’re completely new to movement or already experienced, this workshop will support where you are and offer ways to deepen your practice.

*Handshift*

Hands take the lead — exploring a playful relationship between hands and feet, weight and balance, grounding and shifting perspective.
