So yesterday didn’t finish how we would have liked. 3stages from the finish on what we thought were the wrong tyres (Slicks in the rain) we started the 10 mile stage close to Devils Bridge. Off of the start it was wet and very slippy but as we got further into the stage it seemed that we had made a good choice and our speed started to rise until around 1-2miles in I pressed the clutch to change down and there was a crack like a shot from a gun and the clutch pedal was on the floor…broken clutch cable. Fortunately having a sequential gearbox meant that we were able to carry on to the end of the stage albeit at a reduced speed despite that the car behind didn’t catch us until nearly the end of 10 miles! Special thanks to the competitors of car 155 (Llwyd Owen Edward’s & Daniel Thomas) a stunning Citroen Saxo Kit Car who stopped at a road junction to give us a push to start. Got the car back to service but alas no spare cable and no one with a spare at all 🙈 lesson learned!! Thanks as ever to Kev Lane for sitting in the nav seat and being supportive all of the event and of course Dave Jenkins (DJM) and Richard Cox for looking after the not always in the greatest conditions #raliceradigion #brambourne #davejenkinsmotorsport by @alanmarriage

Finished for the evening car all in one piece had one small mistake that cost us about 2 minutes which was frustrating after such a good day. Now off to Parc Ferme for the night and back at it tomorrow. All good except looks like we will get rain! by @alanmarriage
