I got this lovely message by GLOW Pole Championship Competition. So what happened?

I was sent a post by GLOW from a friend because it looked clearly AI and they knew I would be triggered. I wanted to be sure so I asked them and they confirmed to which I replied "Ew hire an actual artist." A bit confrontational from me but I was angry that AI and data centres are hurting the planet and with foresight I can see I was totally one hundred percent overreacting and sincerly apologise for being upset our planet is on fire but anyway they replied and seemed happy to use AI despite my frivolous concerns which I brought up. Also their replies had some hallmarks of being chatpgt generated which left a sour impression.

I also raised ethical concerns around consent and heard no more from them.

I posted screenshots of this convo on my Instagram story as a collage of images expressing my opinion that using AI is lazy and focusing on the broad topic about AI ethics.

Then I woke up to their messages.

I blocked them and posted all the screenshots of what was said between us on my stories, added a highligjt "GLOW F*CK YRSELF," and now here as a post.

They also sent a formal email. I didn't get the informal one, must have gotten lost in Gmail post somewhere.

I do humbly bumbly think people can be lazy in using AI, instead of creating the assets, particle effects and textures themselves they just used AI. This isn't efficiency this is glossing over photographers work and dancers images with a machine. Also there have been ample reports of AI stealing artist's works and styles, and when you feed the gen AI machine pictures and images you are also allowing it to steal those images and pictures.

Anyway I want to make sure that there is no way they can say I defamed them because you can see their words right there on the screen in all their truth and I ask you to base your own opinion, keep it humble please, on that.

OK just to be super duper safe, AI is the best tool in the whole wide world, who needs drinking water when the data centres certainly do. GLOW if you seeing this, we all chill fam? 🥹👉👈

Kind regards,

Music speaks for itself! Despite having no grip, sweating my bollox off and forgetting the wrong underwear for the performance lol I still had a blast at @exotic_generation_mallorca my last comp of the year. Met some lovely people and had a chill aul time in Mallorca.

Wanna see the full piece? Then pay me bish 🤑 and come see me live when I perform next.

Thank you @la_mauriello @mamboqueen.flow @odpozo @zuzanna.nachyla @abcpoledancer for judging and having a laugh 😃
