The Starfire II inks under regular lights. Also got some gold and copper ink tests in there.
They are all quite loose inks, the neons pull quite transparent but very easily covers flat. The metallics are very opaque and have a nice sheen. taken in Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center by @alanskees

Let's get back to some woodblocks for a bit!
Process: I'm drawing on top of a xerox transfer I put together in PS. Not quite done mapping out the values and cut directions, and gonna clean up the grid. The grid is gonna be a nightmare to cut 😂 taken in Williamsburg, Virginia by @alanskees

My SLS Rocket steamroller woodblock I made a few years back for the 100th Anniversary of Langley / NASA exhibit at the PFAC, flies again! 😄 I cut down the full block and painted it up and rerolled it in black. It's been hanging in my son's room ever since. 🚀 It's now in the From the Sea to the Stars exhibit at the CHTAC!
Thanks @dianablanchardgross for inviting me to the show!
